Our business
Doubling capacity and output
ADGAS’ operational core is the gas liquefaction, dehydration, and compression plants on Das Island, which consist of three LNG trains that have the capacity to produce around eight million tons of LNG, LPG, paraffinic naphtha, and molten sulfur for exports. The facilities also include five gas processing trains, with capacity to dehydrate and compress one billion standard cubic feet of gas daily and send it through the pipeline to Abu Dhabi Habshan facilities.
The plant is unique in its ability to process and handle associated and non-associated gases produced during oil production from various oil fields and gas fields. LNG Trains 1 and 2 and OAG Trains 1 and 2 can handle both types of gases at high and/or low pressures, while LNG Train 3 and the 3 trains of IGD exclusively handle high pressure gas. This versatility is vital to allow uninterrupted oil production from various oil fields without any gas flaring.
Das Island, measuring around 4.8 km2 in size, plays a major role in the region’s oil and gas industry.
