Ms. Sahar Saad Al Kaabi

Chairwoman of Sadaf Gallery

Ms AlKaabi started her career back in 1994 in the administration field where she worked in Oman Airport Management Company and then moved to the academic field to join Al Iman School as a director of Public Relations. Since 1996, she has held the position of Chairperson of Sadaf Gallery, which is responsible for the development of Human Resources offering soft skills training.

Ms AlKaabi played an effective role in the Training and Development Sector in the Sultanate where she contributed to developing and delivering workshops related to entrepreneurship and youth skills development. She also worked on reviewing the legislation governing the training practises in both the public and private sectors. In rewards to the efforts played in this domain, Ms AlKaabi received many shields and awards, among them the Golden shield for excellence from the Arab Organization for Social Responsibility and the Arab Women Council.

Throughout her career, Ms AlKaabi has participated in several seminars and conferences, locally and regionally, looking at investing in human resources and career development and she has chaired local committees such as the Human Resource Development and the Gulf Labour Market Committees in addition to her membership in other committees and local councils in the Sultanate such as the executive committee of Sanad Program back in 2008.

Ms AlKaabi holds a Bachelor of Arts and Social Science with a major in the Arabic Language and Literature from Sultan Qaboos University in 1993. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Arabic literature from the Arab Research and Studies Institute.
