Two-day CEO Program
March 29-30, 2015
On the 29th and 30th of March, the National CEO Program will be delivering a two-day strategic workshop for 25 Omani CEOs.
The workshop has been designed in partnership with IMD - one of the world's foremost Business Schools and McKinsey & Company - the leading global management consulting firm. This short program will start by exploring current and future global trends, understanding the factors and the impact these trends will have on the international and regional business environment. The program will explore topics including: how will these factors shape the region's future? What is the outlook for the MENA region? What capabilities do leaders need to develop in order to remain competitive in this dynamic future?
The second part of the program will explore the impact of future trends on the Sultanate and its competitiveness. IMD will analyse both dimensions of competitiveness applied to the Sultanate and to Omani corporations. Along with other senior Omani leaders, participants will take part in the IMD World and Business Competitiveness survey. The session, led by the Director of the IMD World Competitiveness Center, will be an exploration of the challenges and opportunities with which the Sultanate is confronted. Finally we will look at the different sector opportunities for economic growth in the Sultanate and how the country can capitalise on its resources.
The workshop will be led by Professor Michael Wade (IMD) and Michael Rennie (McKinsey& Company). Professor Arturo Bris (IMD) and Gemma d'Auria (McKinsey & Company) will also be facilitating.
