Mr AlZubair has extensive knowledge and experience in financial, investment and business management.
He has started his career working in investment banking in Geneva and then moved to Morgan Grenfell Bank in London before joining OMINVEST in Oman. Currently, he is the Executive Director of The Zubair Corporation and Chairman of Zubair Automotive Group.
Mr AlZubair holds the position of Chairman of the Board of several reputable organizations in the Sultanate. He is the Chairman of the Fund for Development of Youth Projects (Sharakah), Deputy Chairman of the National Finance Company SAOG, and a Board member of Oman Arab Bank, where he is also Chairman of the Compliance and Risk Management Committee.
He previously held the position of Chairman at OMINVEST and served on the Boards of Commercial Bank of Oman, Muscat Finance Company, and FINCORP.
Mr AlZubair was nominated by the Government to represent the Private sector on the Boards of Government-owned hotels. He represented the Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry as a member of the team for meetings of the Indian Ocean Rim – Association for Regional Cooperation, and also served on the regional board of the Young Arab Leaders.
Hani holds Bachelor Degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Richmond University, UK. He is also a keen sportsman.
