Jon began his teaching career in rural Zimbabwe. He has since spent 20 years in international business schools, not only as a teacher, designing and delivering learning solutions, but also in a range of leadership roles.
Currently, he is supporting the growth of the Institute of Capability Development (ICD) for the Sultanate’s Diwan of Royal Court, which was established in 2013 to enhance the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of Diwan employees.
Before joining the Diwan, Jon was involved in creating an international business school in Sub-Saharan Africa, designed to meet the talent requirements of the fast-growing economies in Southern Africa. The business school's first campus is in Gaborone, Botswana.
Previously, he was a Director of London Business School, Deputy Principal of Henley Management College, and built a business education institution for the Government of Qatar.
